Auld Donell is back to his old ways—meddling with fate to change an uncertain future by rewriting the past.

He challenges three modern women to test the very boundaries of time. From Bronte, who flees to the past to save her future, to Aila, whose hunt for treasure lands her 300 years off course, and Ginny, who seeks history but finds a life truly worth living—they all find themselves at the mercy of Donell’s schemes and must navigate a rugged world of Highlanders to discover if love really can conquer the limitations of time.

Steamy, Sexy ... and Historically Solid! Angeline Fortin has hit another one out of the park with "A Scot Worth Having." Fortin is a master of research, much of which she did by visiting the actual places mentioned in the book making it all the more fun. In addition to providing a history lesson (that you barely realize you're getting because the story moves so quickly), you can almost hear the waves crashing and see the green of the Highlands. And a bonus -- you'll get to hear updates on characters from other of her novels, including Bronte, Tris, Violet and Donell. This was a thoroughly wonderful novel to get lost in. I didn't want it to end! Eagerly awaiting her next.

What would life be like without this rascally Scot? This book of Ms. Fortin's stretches the imagination and brings the reader into a time period rarely addressed in writing. While I was initially disappointed about the lack of lairds and castles, I did get my castle in the middle of the book! And who could not possibly fall in love with Bronte and Tris. I mean, come on….they grasp your heart. Well worth the purchase and the read. I've added it to my "keep" collection.

Love reading books from this author. Sometimes it’s lovely to be able to switch off from everything and get lost in another world. Can’t wait to read the next one!

I love that Angeline Fortin gives us characters, both male and female, who are strong yet vulnerable. In Aila's case she has baggage which has left her quite anxious but she's therefore incredibly human. I love that she had flaws but still gets her HEA. And Finn, wow, what more can I say?
